The vibraphonist Franck Tortiller has conducted the National Jazz Orchestra since 2005 until 2008, with concerts in France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Turkey, the United States and Ireland.

The Django d’Or 2007 of the Spectacle Vivant Spedidam (Spedidam Live Show) was awarded to Franck Tortiller and the National Jazz Orchestra for "Sentimental 3 Temps", a program inspired by the waltz.
