Janis the pearl

Between 1965 and 1975, pop/rock british music saw the rise of music icons such as Hendrix, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan…Among them, only one woman with an extraordinary destiny. For a jazz musician, this power in the interpretation is the center of his musical work.
This program wants to pay a tribute to Joplin, but without imitation. It is an original creation with arrangements of her big hits and also originals compositions by Franck Tortiller.
This tribute, far from celebrating a blessed period, hopes to give the feeling that everything is still possible.
